Malahat Film Studios is coming to Vancouver Island. Seven years in the making, this indigenous co-owned complex offers a sustainable, full-service facility to tap into the global film market. Consisting of six world-class sound stages, a backlot, water tanks and Industrial Park, it also offers offices, a hotel and state of the art media centre – everything the film industry needs to create world-class films. A technical Academy will provide training and work experience to ensure a continuous supply of specialized crew. This unique business has created partnerships to bring skills, expertise, technology and diversity to Vancouver Island.
